Open volunteer positions now with FAAN

We now have some incredible volunteer positions open with FAAN (Fundacion Familia Amor Animal), as we prepare for the groundbreaking for the new shelter, the holidays, and getting our dogs groomed and ready for the move to their new home.

Here is a chance to bring and apply those career and life skills you arrived in Cuenca with and have a part-time, meaningful volunteer position that will help us in our foundation vision to make Cuenca “The City that Cares” about animal welfare.

While there will be important hands-on volunteer work of Mingas in December, helping to groom and prepare our dogs for their new home, there are also exciting organizational positions open now that offer flexibility and, the ability to work from home and use all of your superpowers.

Here are just a few of the positions and skills we are seeking:

-Construction in all trades of the New Shelter including carpentry, electrical, and project management.
-Event Planning
-Hosting a small FAAN salon event at your home such as a continental breakfast and Mimosas before the groundbreaking field trip in November
-Fostering and Adoption
-Online Research
-Merchandising
-Data-Base Management
-Grant Writing
-English and Spanish Translation
-Work with the Education Team
-Writing, Photography and Videography
-Fundraising and Marketing
